Reflection & Practice
If you are a parent, and do not already do so, will you commit to the rhythm of prayer Chris shares from the tradition of Jewish shabbat with your own kids? The next time you sit down for a meal, pull them close, whisper a prayer, and simply remind them that they are loved.
How are you involving the children of your home (or perhaps small group) in the practicing of the rhythms described; rhythms of hospitality, authenticity, kindness, seeking beauty, seeking God, and serving others? If you are not currently a parent, who are the children in your life to whom you can be a blessing; or how might you serve and love the children who are all a part of our Ecclesia family?
