Pastor Chris Seay shares a message from Pucallpa, Peru; just one of the many communities with whom we've been called to partner in this Advent season. As we consider the many stories of those in need, will we enter into them with genuine empathy; truly feeling the burdens that we are called to join God in lifting?
Text
Nehemiah 1:4
1 Corinthians 12: 25-26
John 11: 33-35
Reflection
The tangible and emotional needs before us, both near and far, are immense. How will you combat "empathy fatigue", strengthening and expanding your capacity for true empathy and care for those in need?
Please set a daily reminder on your phone to pray for Jorge and the work of Living Water International in Peru, and for the grieving family of Geisy Cisneros.
