Entering the story of advent means being present and experiencing the Awe & Wonder of the newborn King. We invite you to be fully present in the season where love wins, peace reigns, and a king is celebrated with every moment.
Each year Americans spends $600 Billion on gifts during the Christmas season. Though it often means racking up debt and using credit cards, these gifts are easily forgotten. We invite you to reimagine how we spend our money during the advent season, and to give relational gifts of real meaning.
In a culture that calls us to excess and consumption we call you to give gifts that require more than just a purchase. This year give gifts which require your time, your energy, and your whole self. Buy tickets to a sporting event or play or coffee that is meant to be consumed together. Whatever it may be, let the gift give throughout the year.
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Liberating King, we join together to give the gift of clean water to those without access. 663 million people lack access to an improved source of drinking water. We believe as we Worship fully, Spend Less, and Give More, that we can love all and join in one of the greatest stories ever told.
