Pastor Chris Seay uses many of the teachings of John Calvin to help us understand our role in this world. He reminds us that we are all priests and have the privilege to embody and display the love of Jesus to everyone we encounter in our work, neighborhood, family and beyond.

Reflection & Practice
In our spheres of influence, we are called to love the people right in front of us. Consider your schedule this upcoming week. How does your time reflect the ways we are called to be prophets (who point to a better hope for our world), priests (who care for those around us), and kings (who display God’s gracious love)?
Pastor Chris called us to “baptize our vocation” this week; there’s something only you can do in your life and work to bless people that no other person can. Spend some time reflecting on the places where you spend your time (job, school, etc) and ask God to show you the unique opportunities you have to be a tangible blessing to those around you.
