Paper Co general manager
The General Manager will oversee all operations of the cafe: providing leadership, defining strategy and objectives, and ensuring goals are met in order to achieve the mission of Paper Co. Cafe.
Paper Co.Cafe opened in 2014 in Houston's First Ward neighborhood with the intention to bring people together. We wanted to create a space where every kind of person could feel welcome and experience a sense of belonging; to truly embody a "cafe for all." So we stated simply:
“Through good food, good coffee, and gracious hospitality, we work to cultivate a community connected by our common humanity.”
Over the past 5 years, Paper Co. has opened the door to host daily cafe operations, pop-up dinners, concerts, art openings, community activities and fundraising events that have welcomed and connected an array of people across our city. We have witnessed the beauty of conversation and relationships forming around good food and drink.
We will continue to strive toward our mission, creating space that levels the table for everyone and making room to pull up another chair, because there is always room at the table.
