Summary of Role

The Sunday Morning Middle School Group Leader helps students experience the relational love of Jesus through consistent relationships, intentional conversations, and fun. This role embodies our belief that middle school students don’t just need content, they need consistent, caring adults who show up, listen well, and walk with them. By creating a safe and engaging environment, this leader helps students explore their faith, ask honest questions, and understand that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead weekly small group conversations during Sunday morning gatherings

• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging group environment

• Build intentional relationships with students

• Help students feel comfortable participating and asking questions

• Check in and take attendance of students

• Serve under the guidance of Student Ministry Director

2-4 Sundays per month

By creating a safe and engaging environment, this leader helps students explore their faith, ask honest questions, and understand that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.

The Sunday Evening Group Leader helps create a space where students experience the joy, connection, and relational love of Jesus. This role embodies our belief that ministry can and does happen outside of curated moments and through relationship, fun, and students feeling seen, known and loved. By showing up with energy and attentiveness, this leader helps students feel included and excited to be part of our community while creating opportunities for deeper connection and spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with students throughout the entire gathering

• Help lead or participate in games and activities

• Participate in worship and model engagement

• Build relationships with both middle and high school students

• Help facilitate small group time (with option to focus on middle or high school)

• Assist with setup and cleanup

• Serve under the guidance of the Student Ministry Director
