Chara: Finding Grace-Filled Joy in the
Midst of Infertility and Loss.

Chara is a support group made up of and ministering to people whose
lives have been touched in some way by infertility, pregnancy loss,
and adoption loss."

Our name, Chara, is a transliteration of the Greek word χαρά. It
means "joy," but it carries "grace" in its meaning.

We believe that as we journey through the difficult things with the
Jesus who loves us, he surprises our hearts with the real and the rich
and the divine, grace-filled Joy.

Our Mission:
*Pray for one another
*Study about our grief/struggles in the context of God's love and
  encourage each other
*Build community, get to know each other
*Help build awareness and sensitivity to the issues of infertility,
  pregnancy loss, and adoption loss in the larger church context
*Find creative ways to serve each other and to care for couples in the
  Houston area who are dealing with these issues"
 
We will be meeting on Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm - 9:00pm near Hermann Park
